Tool grade single crystal diamond
Due to its polycrystalline structure, CVD diamond can produce fracture toughness (fracture resistance) that is higher than natural diamond. It does not contain any metal or non-metallic binders and has high transparency, high thermal conductivity, especially extremely high wear resistance, which is 50-100 times higher than that of hard alloys. CVD diamond can be used in machining environments that require extremely high wear resistance and heat dissipation.

Scope of application:
CVD diamond tools have super hard wear resistance and good toughness, which enable them to machine most non-metallic materials and more non-ferrous materials. Such as aluminum, aluminum silicon alloy, copper alloy, graphite, ceramics and various reinforced glass fiber and carbon fiber structural materials.

The biggest difference between CVD Diamond and PCD is that there is no binder, it is pure diamond, the purity is close to 100% . Compared with PCD, CVD diamond tool has higher hardness, better wear resistance, lower friction coefficient, higher thermal conductivity and better chemical and thermal stability. The performance of CVD Diamond Tool is better than that of PCD tool, and the service life of the tool can be extended by 2-3 times. The disadvantage of CVD Diamond is that it is not as tough as PCD and does not conduct electricity.
